| Balingup Small Farm Field Day - April The Balingup Small Farm Field Day is the most popular event held in our community, with over 10,000 people enjoying the day on the town oval. Over 300 stalls, plus information and demonstration booths give everyone
an opportunity to learn how to live the 'good life' away from the city. Guided small farm and "tree-change" tours are conducted for a small extra fee. Practical demonstrations include a Blacksmith, a Farrier, fence building, and greenwood turning on a pole lathe.
Early in April the town comes alive with the Small Farm Field Day symbol, the scarecrow.
Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for children. |
Medieval Carnivale - August Held on the 4th weekend in August. |
| Jalbrook Balingup Concert - November
This award winning annual concert has gained the reputation as one of the premier events
in the South West. Held on the last Saturday of each November this night of concert magic
in a stunning setting is a must on all social calendars. The natural amphitheatre on the
night becomes a fairyland with special lighting and sound effects to enhance this night
of "concert magic under the stars". |
